Amber Robinson joins our staff

NAMI GC Welcomes New Helpline Coordinator.

Allow us to introduce our new Helpline Coordinator, Amber Robinson.  Amber is responsible for information and referrals, along with other duties.  Amber replaces Kari Kepic, who transitioned to the position of Peer Support Specialist earlier this year.  Before coming to NAMI GC, Amber worked over three years as a Referral and Information Specialist with Frontline Service’s Mobile Crisis Team.  She has extensive experience addressing crisis situations, providing support, information and referral services to peers, families, friends, caregivers, mental health providers and the public.  In November of 2017, Amber was recognized by the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for her dedication and willingness to assist those who called the hotline.

Amber received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University and is currently working on her master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology.  Amber is dedicated to fighting the stigma on mental health and passionate about being a voice for those impacted by mental illness.
