MetroHealth expansion will add 110 treatment beds for behavioral health, addiction services in Cleveland Heights

MetroHealth on Friday announced plans to significantly expand its behavioral health and addiction services by adding 110 new treatment beds, a psychiatric urgent care center and specialized units at its Cleveland Heights Medical Center.
The $42 million expansion will add 96,000 square feet of new space to the hospital and is expected to be completed in 2022, the health system said in a news release.
