CLEVELAND, Ohio – Matt Smith was experiencing homelessness before he went to the Stella Maris substance abuse treatment center.
“I didn’t know what to do, and they helped me,” said Smith, who was addicted to opiates and had strained relationships with his family.
Now, Smith is involved in the lives of his four children and has filled out an application for barber college.
